STEP 1: Contact the Artist(s) of your Choice.
NOTE: Schools can contact an artist at ANYTIME throughout the year!

- Contact the artist in whom you are interested to discuss their services AND to set a date.
IMPORTANT NOTE for NEW Schools: To ensure a successful experience for new schools to the artist residency program (see below) a veteran Galaxy Teaching Artist should be requested in order to receive grant support.
STEP 2: Contact Galaxy Program Coordinator, Renee McQuown.
AFTER contacting and discussing your arts services with an artist:
For Artist for a Day (AFAD) – Submit, on-line, the AFAD Confirming Order Form. After the form is submitted, the school contact person will receive an email confirmation from Galaxy.
For Artist Residencies – Download, then FAX or send the Residency Application and Request for Funds form. Galaxy will follow up with the contact person.

Once an arts service is confirmed, it will appear on the “Galaxy Calendar of Arts Services”. Both schools and artists may access this calendar to verify the date of the service. If ANY changes are made to the dates of service, Galaxy should be notified IMMEDIATELY.
